IDA General Secretary Paying a Visitto the Center’s Exhibition Booth

The World Conference of International Desalination Association (IDA) in 2013 was held ceremoniously at Meijiang Exhibition Center, Tianjin, from October 21- 25, 2013. Its subject is: Seawater Desalination, Commitment to the Future. The conference attracted the representatives from 58 countries to participate in registration. As the pilot of seawater desalination projects in China, the Center made its debut in dramatic gesture in the conference.

The conference includes two parts of exhibition and forum. Combining the conference’s aim, the Center exhibited the both respectively, in the exhibition area, the emphasis is the achievements of seawater desalination overseas to reflect the Center’s construction and abilities in international markets. In the exhibition, the Center’s exhibition booth received the guests from various sides, meanwhile, the Center itself also expanded its international vision in the conference. During the exhibition, IDA general secretary, the general secretary of China Membrane Industrial Association etc. paid visits to the Center’s exhibition booth. In the second day of the conference, as specially invited guest, the Center’s representative made a report entitled “Energy use reduction, science and experience”. The plain experience introduction and convictive data analysis gave rise to the concerns from many in the audience.

In the future, the Center will constantly adhere to relying on the domestic markets,  and entering international markets as a target, to construct itself turning into internationally first-rate seawater desalination enterprise.
