The Center Winning Honorary Title of “Green Civilization Unit ” of Hangzhou City

The Center CY League Commission participated in the creation and assessment activities of Hangzhou Municipal “Green Civilization Unit” in 2012, excellent “Ecologic  Monitoring Station for Protecting Mother River”, excellent environmental protection volunteers carried out jointly by Hangzhou Municipal CY League Commission, municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, municipal Volunteers Work Guiding Center and won a honorary title of “Hangzhou Green Civilization Unit”.

As a first-line team which is working in green environmental protection, the Center has undertaken for over years the national sci-tech tackling key problems plan, the national key fruit popularization plan, the national 863 plan, the important special projects of the provincial Department of Science and Technology etc. many items of topics, and made important contribution to wastewater resource utilization in China, and first adopted membrane technology to treat electroplating, paper-making, dyeing and printing etc. industrial wastewater, filling in gap of wastewater resource utilization by membrane technology in China. As a leading enterprise of the first-line environmental protection work, the Center has undertaken over 50-odd wastewater engineering projects involved in electroplating, paper-making, landfill leachate, dyeing and printing, medicine, chemical industry etc. fields, accumulated wastewater treatment quantity is as high as one million t/d, the economic benefit of resource recovery reached to RMB one billion yuan, making important contribution to the cause of  green environmental protection in China.
