The Working Meeting of Zhejiang Provincial Strategic Union of Industrial Technology Innovation for Seawater Desalination organized and held by the Center

On October 12, 2012, the Center organized and convened a working meeting of Zhejiang Provincial Strategic Union of Industrial Technology Innovation for Seawater Desalination. 20-odd participants from the Union’s various director units attended the meeting. At the Union’s invitation, Prof. Gao Conjie, the member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, participated in the meeting and carried out instruction for the meeting. In the meeting, the Union made a summary for its running conditions, put forward requirements to various Union units, and meanwhile, deployed next working arrangement.

The Zhejiang Provincial Strategic Union of Industrial Technology Innovation for Seawater Desalination is an organization with Hangzhou Water Treatment Center as a president unit and combining Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Zhejiang Ocean University, Nanfang Special Pump Industries Co., Ltd etc. 13 universities and colleges and enterprises which have stronger strength in respects of seawater desalination technologies and industries. Since being founded, it has achieved better results in respects of industrial development and technical innovation of seawater desalination, and construction of innovation platform, and actively promoted the development of seawater desalination industries and techniques in Zhejiang Province, even our country.
